I’m a writer and Editor-in-Chief at BinaryFork. I am passionate about technology, science, space exploration, and movies. I started writing about tech more than 20 years ago, after graduating in Computer Science.
My current work: My writing expertise includes PC components, mechanical keyboards, and software, which I’ve decided to make the focus of BinaryFork, a website I hope to grow larger than my own persona. I also host the ‘PC is Dead, Again‘ newsletter, where I cover actionable software tips that anyone can utilize for efficiency.
Past work experience: I worked for several tech websites, some bigger (go4it.ro), some smaller (hit.ro), including my own niche websites (giz.ro). I often make websites because I like to build stuff from zero. I’m also passionate about copywriting, digital marketing, and graphic design. In another life I’m sure I was a 3D graphics artist.
After graduating Computer Science in the early 2000’s, I started my career working for a local tech magazine. I still like testing and writing about hardware, but I don’t do it as much today.
During my 20+ years career I’ve been a hardware and software editor, webmaster, product manager, project manager, “blogger”, video editor. I would not be surprised if I’ll add a few more titles to this list before I retire if I ever get around to that.
Hobbies: In my spare time, I watch movies, TV series, and play PC games. I’m also reading books, mostly Sci-Fi, but I won’t refuse an enjoyable book if you have a suggestion.
